Jenni will be coming to speak to us about a local charity called Bicester Autism. You, the reader, may not be autistic, however the condition is increasingly being identified. Over the last 20 years there has been a surprising rise in the number of people diagnosed as Autistic. Autism is a lifelong developmental disability which affects how people communicate and interact with the world. More than one in 100 people are on the autism spectrum and there are around 700,000 autistic adults and children in the UK.
It is quite possible that a member of your family, a work colleague or a friend could have been diagnosed as ADHD, autistic or similar. Both children and adults need a little understanding if they are going to function in the community and achieve their potential for themselves or their employer.
Our Open Meetings are open to all businesses and run from 0700 until 0900 on the fourth Wednesday of each month.
Breakfast is £13.50 and we offer the opportunity for businesses to meet and network before and after the meeting. We have Free Parking at the Littlebury Hotel, Bicester.
