In today's digital world, customers are often making decisions about a business before they've even made contact. This talk explores how people research businesses online, what builds trust, and why even the best businesses can be overlooked if they're not showcasing themselves effectively.
Rather than focusing on social media algorithms or the technical side of different platforms, I'll be looking at the psychology behind how customers choose who to buy from. We'll explore the role of photography, video and authentic content in building credibility, the common mistakes businesses make online, and simple ways to create content that helps businesses stand out.
The aim is to keep it practical, with plenty of real world examples and actionable takeaways that attendees can apply to their own business, regardless of their industry or experience with social media.
The WBC open meetings are just that, open to all business categories. In general we have an interesting speaker from the public or private sector and on occasion from a local charity. The event offers plenty of time for networking, both before and after the event and a great breakfast. These meetings are a great place to further improve your network contacts and build on the connectivity between businesses locally. Guests are therefore very welcome to attend whether new to networking or a seasoned pro, we always look forward to meeting you.
